Hi, I’m Sarah Rae.

In 2018, I decided to try and become a “real artist”. Not that I had any idea what that meant. There are infinite ways to be an artist, after all. I got to work starting a portfolio and applied to art school. I studied part-time while working full-time. Suddenly it was 2022 and I was shaking hands with the Vicar of Dibley graduating with an MA in Illustration. I’ve got the bit of paper, now what? Try to find out what kind of artist I want to be I guess, and hopefully it will be a “real” one. Come along on my journey as I make mistakes, win some, lose some and learn a lot.
